My son Asif was narrating an incident about Nerjis ,, he had taken her out and and while he was buying something Nerjis left his hand and walked up to a beggar ..her father followed her and Nerjis began talking to the beggar why he was sitting in the hot sun , he should be at home , and than she told him why his clothes were dirty and most of the beggars in Bandra know her very well and are tolerant to her camera ,, but this was a new Nerjis interviewing the beggar ,.finally she asked her dad to give him some money..
So very soon I think Nerjis will be shooting videos too ,.,. she does it at home on her mothers mobile phone ,,,
So in a way street photography did make Nerjis aware of life beyond her own house ,, I hardly have time to take them out ,,not even Tennis ,, and during Moharam it is majlis ..but Namaz is what all three are keen on performing .,.
Now all three got 3 chadors from Karbala Iraq , 3 prayers mats 3 tazbis and this was the best gift for them... no games no dolls ,,
So my advise to all of you do introduce your kids grandkids to the camera it is a eye opener .. that little peep hole in the camera shows them a world different from their own...I mean so many adults who dont know how to shoot a picture or even hold a camera ,, I saved my grandkids that humiliation and torture ,,
